Google could automatically reverse a hacked website manual action within the Google Search Console once they confirm the hack issue has been resolved.
Google declared they are having experiment with automatically reversing manual actions for hacked websites that have undergone the process of removing the hack.
Google stated that they are beta testing the automatic removal of some hacked manual actions. In Google Search Console if Google sees a ‘Hacked site’ manual action below ‘Partial matches', and if their systems discover that the hacked content is not present, in some cases, they are going to automatically take away that manual action.
So if Google finds that the hack has been taken off, Google may reverse the manual action for you, though you are not submitting the request for reconsideration.
Google suggests that you simply check to visualize if you've got a manual action and if you wish to submit the reconsideration request. Google wrote that they still suggest that we just submit a reconsideration request if we see any manual actions, however there is no need to be shocked if a ‘Hacked site’ manual action disappears and saves the trouble for you.
One needs to have an idea that a number of the leading manual actions that don't have submissions from webmasters around reconsideration requests in the Google Search Console are hacked website notifications. Several hacked sites stay hacked even when warnings, however one must assume that those hacked sites that get fixed might forget to submit a request for reconsideration in the Google Search Console. This may clear up that queue, not only for the webmasters, but also for Google.
Despite going directly against Google’s guidelines for years, if you get a manual action and take the required steps, the Google penalty may be reversed in less than a week. Google is saying it doesn’t matter who you're, what you are doing, how bad the penalty essentially is — if you clean it up and submit an in depth reconsideration request, you'll be able to be penalty free quickly.
