DrivetoCare is a provider of non-emergency medical transportation services. They are devoted to offering the best quality of comfort to their clients and seniors. DrivetoCare’s professional team will work attentively to assure your family or client reach their destination safely and on-time. Safety comes first! their transportation partners’ well-maintained wheelchair vans and ambulances are specialized with the latest equipment to ensure client comfort and safety. They offer efficient and punctual services. DrivetoCare’s Mission is to provide the best customer service through friendly, professional, and well-trained staff.
Challenge
This project came to AXAT Team as a static Wix.com website for to have modification in it. After detailed discussion with client, client have explained the business scope and as being IT consultant we have suggested multiple ways to bring Ambulance booking feature automated from manual.
Business requirement to have an easy and quick Ambulance service booking application for patients and care coordinator. As Ambulance is booked in the emergency situation, client was wanted to make the process quick. Process involves login, select ride, select source/destination, check fare and book ride. Transport providers will receive the notification for pick-up. Price should be calculated on the basis of Type of ride needed and Distance.
Solution
Based on the project timeline and client budget we have selected wordpress CMS approach to build this application. AXAT Team have built custom plugin to manage dynamic sections of website. As this was wordpress website we have used google map plugin to get the distance b/w two locations then built custom plugin to calculate the fares and ability to set default fares from CMS.
