Project Brief

The Bio2Device Group (B2DG) is a chief association committed to all experts in the Life Sciences industry inside the San Francisco Bay Area. Enrollment is free and open to anybody in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Diagnostics, Healthcare, Life Science Tools, and Laboratory Service businesses.

The Bio2Device Group's events give the most recent industry data through week after week instructive projects and face­to­face interactive opportunities to build and maintain a career network. The instructive talks are intended to help individuals stay up with the latest, keep on growing in their field, and additionally investigate other industry divisions and corporate capacities. Individuals are experienced experts in the life science industry areas speaking to new companies to Fortune 500 organisations and professional firms partnering with the industry. This association is exceptionally intuitive, volunteer­driven and one of a kind to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Challenge

Client wanted to migrate their website from old Drupal CMS to WordPress CMS and also wanted to migrate their complete database safely.

Solution

As client had a lot of important and valuable data on their server we did development of the new website in WordPress on our server. Initially we selected a theme and customize it as per requirements also developed custom plugin for client which allows a visitor to post, edit and update events as well.

Once the functionality was completed we asked client for the SQL dump of the complete database and safely migrated a huge amount of data including more than 1600 users which had a database structure of Drupal to WordPress database structure.

Result

The website was migrated successfully from Drupal to WordPress and all concerns regarding the backend were resolved and the whole functionality was explained to the admin to manage the website.
